Transformational Flower Essences of the Santa Fe Mountains of New Mexico

New Mexico, especially the Santa Fe and Taos area in the north, has very intense transformational energy. Many seekers are drawn to visit or to live here for a time during transitionary periods of their lives, or as a time of vision quest or spiritual transformation. The flowers and lichens that asked me to create vibrational essences with them are all supportive of this transformational energy.

Apache Plume Fallugia paradoxa This shrub gets its name from the seedheads, which are held through the next bloom, so seeds and blossoms appear simultaneously. The seedheads take the form of a whirling vortex of soft red and green fuzz. The Apache Plume is the only species in the genus, which is in the rose family.The flowers are pure sparkling white, 5 petals, like a simple single rose, with a faint buttery sweet fragrance. They open in the sun and close in shadow and dusk.The action of the essence supports change, expanded consciousness, awareness of infinite possibilities. There’s a sense of play, of a profusion of light. For those who are blocked, stuck, caught in a hedge of thorny thickets of our own making.
Gray Green Rock Crust This essence supports inter-dimensional travel and consciousness. Accessing other dimensions, awareness of where you have created connections with other dimentions, lives or existences in other dimensionsw. Sliding between planes or dimensions of whatever…good for thinking inter-dimensionally. When there is pressure and intensity to change, opens possibilities.
Black Centered Gray Green Foliate Lichen On small red rocks. Vast distance, huge expansiveness of being can become localized on request. Here I am and infinite being simultaneously with ease.
Tamarack aka Tamarisk, Salt Cedar Tamarix pentandra A small tree with soft panicles of tiny lavender pink blossoms with bright magenta centers. A very faint meadowy scent. The tree grows in watercourses and saline areas, the between places. It is considered an invasive alien in the southwest. When I made the essence, I didn’t know what it was, and asked an indigenous man working in the area if he knew it. He not only told me what it was, and that it is an invasive alien, he also shared some native teachings about some of the other plants growing there. I had just that morning had a conversation with the friend I was visiting in Santa Fe about the tensions and devisiveness in the area between the Anglos and the ancestral inhabitants. The Tamarack deva supports the awareness that we are all connected, all life on Earth is connected, all consciousness is connected. It is an invented, devisive point of view that there are aliens that invade…It is our own judgements that create reactivity to invaders in our bodies, as well. The flower essence supports us being aware of when people are lying, when they appear sweet and nice until they screw us. This is true of beings without bodies also. Entities can present themselves as “angelic” for instance, which is not the same as being an angel! Entities can weasel their way into our minds and bodies by appearing to be friendly, resonating with our emotional state, that is, being sympathetic to us.If we don’t have the point of view that we have rigid boundaries that can be invaded, if we don’t have the notion that we need to protect ourselves and defend ourselves, our territory, then we are not reactive. We don’t attract invaders. We don’t have a problem when entities do show up. We can deal with them as other beings rather than enemies. This flower essence supports awareness of the connections, the easing of defensive stances, allowing others to be what they are rather than reacting.There is a global ecological transition taking place on Earth with plants and animals from different regions invading other regions, crowding out native species. The deva of the Tamarack showed me that all plants and animals belong on Earth, there is no alien to the Earth, we all belong, we all have a home here if we choose to. The influx of galactic energies entering Earth during this transitionary period in Earth’s consciousness has been challenging for many people to integrate. This essence supports softening to those new energies, integrating them gently.
Dakota Vervain Verbena bipinnatifida This low-growing plant grows in small patches in the dry hills. When I travelled north into Colorado, the terrain changed from rocky desert hills to high plains. There were great swaths of vervain in bloom, turning the landscape purple.This essence is soothing to those jarred and jittery from the intensity of transformation. For those who take their path to change with deep gravity, it assists in lightening up, being playful instead of taking it so seriously. The deva shares a deep purple wisdom and light. Supports intensity of change here with connecting to source, calm, peace. Relaxing. Aids sleep.
Austrian Copper Rose Rosa foetidus bicolor This astonishing rose was growing and blooming by my friend’s front door. The colors of the flowers are the most vivid I have ever seen in a rose: brilliant flame red, red-orange, and bright yellow. She said she had never watered it. I saw the yellow form blooming in several public gardens, as well, often in areas that were not part of the formal plantings. Holding a blossom to the heart, or merely touching the plant, one can feel the deep action on the heart. Our hearts are where we hold our deeply personal charged attachments to other people, to places, to our creations. During transformational processes, we often must relinquish our attachments, which can be intensely painful. This essence supports us to be the process of letting go instead of identifying with what is being torn away. Assists with letting go of possessing and control of our attachments and what we believe we are attached to, so we can change with more ease and less suffering. This was demonstrated in a remarkable way the very night after the essence was made: my friend, who has an emotionally dramatic personality, had a traumatic breakup with her spouse, triggered suddenly by some information shared with her. Usually she would have been devastated by a partner suddenly leaving, and would have been weeping and distraught for days. She kept sipping the mother essence of the rose she had made, and with each sip, received ease, peace, trust in the process. She was able to let go  of her habitual reactive mode, and receive an expanded sense of the changes being demanded of her by the transformational path she had chosen.
Golden Corydalis aka Golden Smoke Corydalis aurea The corydalis family is all about speed! This flower made my fingers buzz and tingle. The golden light of consciousness. Happiness, cheerfulness. The speed of space, which is infinite being. Supports getting up to speed on whatever you’re working on, supports the nervous system increasing its capacity to carry faster vibrational information.
Claret Cup Cactus Echinocereus triglochidiatus The deep color of this cactus flower is amazing. The deva downloaded a lot of information that came to me as bursting phrases. Here goes! Creating emotional intensity. Trauma and drama. Solar plexus, belly. Holding it inside. Desperation, isolation, loneliness, separateness. Must not get out. End of the rope. Extreme contraction. Despair. Wild struggles to hold onto. There’s no other way. It’s the only way. Intense power used for control. All forces directed to control. Immediate reality must be controlled. Control equals survival. Survival equals closing off escape. The choice to create no choice! Self-imprisonment. All infinite capacities shut away from cognition, from cognitive awareness. Rejection of everything that doesn’t fit. Using everything selectively, bastardization of capacity. Clear perception. Clarity of what is the choice to create. We create all the time, and a lot of what we create is limitation for ourselves and others.
Pinõn Pinus edulis This is the short pine tree that is the source of the native pine nuts of the southwestern United States. It grows with juniper in dryland forests that appear sparse…a tree every fifteen or twenty feet. Pinõn is a signature of the southwest. Each range of elevation and latitude has distinctive plant communities. The air is deliciously scented in the Santa Fe hills with the pinõn and juniper there. Likewise, we “squat” in a chosen or assumed position and call it ours, identify with it, and resist moving from it. The pinõn essence addresses squatting in a range of emotional positions including self-judgement, self-recrimination, regret, bitterness. We make our chosen position highly significant, including our chosen emotional intensity. The pinõn offers ease with letting go of the significance of our position, releasing the weight of the burden of the significance of self, of identifying with the squatting place. If we have chosen that emotional place or identified with the position to make ourselves distinct from others, to “prove” that we are a separate self, this essence allows us to be one among the many, just as a tree is one in the forest, without threatening to lose ourselves. We can be the gift we are in the creation without making ourselves greater or lesser, without having to be only one thing, one note in the symphony, investing ourselves wholly in that limited viewpoint, and then resenting when anyone or anything attempts to budge us from it.
Yellow Rock Crust This brilliant lichen is florescent green-yellow when growing, and a bright mustard gold when more mature. It makes a bright patchwork in the red rocks of the hills. The texture is cracked or crackled looking. This essence assists in tapping into the universal stream of information. Use it when you are seeking something, asking for something to be revealed.

New Sunflower Flower Essences

I made flower essences of 3 exciting sunflower varieties this summer. “Rosy Eclipse”, “Tiger’s Eye”, and a variety I call “Wednesday’s Child.” I am grateful and amazed at how different each variety can be…they all carry the characteristic sunflower essence signature of extremes around the theme of self-esteem.

Sunflower Tiger’s Eye Flower Essencesunflwrtigereye
Like a crouching tiger that springs, claws extended, our self-defenses can be ferocious! Those with low self-esteem may have hair-trigger survival instincts implanted during abuse, trauma, or from being in violent circumstances. Helps to balance the personality when PTSD has thrown the nervous system askew. Or, for those who cannot stand up for themselves, this flower essence catalyzes the inner tiger. Wouldn’t you rather have choice? You can purr, you can growl, you can roar!

Sunflower Wednesday’s Child Flower Essence
“Woe is me, I’ve lost my light, how shall I ever find it?” is the refrain of this flower, and what it heals. For of course we cannot ever really lose our light, it is eternal and ever-present. It just seems like we have, when we contract, construct walls around ourselves, and how awful does that feel?
This plant bloomed from a mix so I don’t know the actual name of the variety, if it has one… This name came to me as I made the essence and is so fitting.

sunflowers

Sunflower Rosy Eclipse Flower Essence
Rosy Eclipse Sunflower is for healing any oppressive time, memories, situations or relationships that still linger energetically due to the emotional bonds we had within them, despite how limiting those situations were. The energetic field of the memories “eclipse” the inner radiance of the self. When we identify with the limited sense of ourselves when we were oppressed, in order to hold onto the emotional, even loving bonds we had with people no longer physically present, we’ve stalled ourselves in time and in life. This essence restores the sunny self to its glowing radiance, so the soul can be connected with dear ones without reliving the oppressive memories.

Ragweed Flower Essence

e-rageedRagweed is such an interesting plant. Many people (here in New England, at least), consider ragweed another name for goldenrod. Allergies to ragweed pollen are widespread and severe, sending asthmatics to the ER, creating all sorts of classic hayfever symptoms, and ear, sinus, and immune symptoms including  joint and muscle and other tissue pain and swelling.

The ragweed/goldenrod confusion seems to arise from the fact that both plants bloom at the same time. As you can see, ragweed, pictured to the right in full bloom, is not a showy plant. The flower spikes are dull green, unlike the brilliant yellow-gold of the goldenrod (below). There is no reason for ragweed to create pretty flowers. It is a veritable pollen-factory, releasing its vast quantities of fine dust-like pollen granules directly into the air, spread by the slightest breeze, where it can fall on nearby ragweed blossoms and create the next generation of hayfever bombs.

Goldenrod (illustrated below), on the other hand, is pollinated by insects: butterflies, bees, wasps, nectar-eating beetles and moths and flies. Goldenrod in bloom is crawling with  pollinators! You won’t see bugs on ragweed, unless they landed on a plant just to take a break from flying. e-stout-goldenrodRagweed offers no nectar to attract pollinators because the wind does the job. Huge difference in appearance!

Ragweed is in the genus Ambrosia. It has pleasant-smelling leaves. It’s an alien to North America, an invader so invasive that it’s hardly on the radar. It is collectively considered so worthless and ubiquitous that people with allergies and asthma don’t even register it as a hazard and pull it up from roadsides and yards before it blooms.

What is the value of Ragweed flower essence? Astonishing, or not… It’s about ease. Ease of living, of breathing, of being.

New Flower Essences for Intensity

White Penstemon Flower Essence

White tubular flowers, velvety, tinged with pinkThis flower essence gives strength and endurance from infinite source, getting in touch with that as your own infinite being.

Meadow Rue Flower Essence

Filaments of white and yellow in tufts.Meadow Rue flower essence is a beautiful flow of benison, comfort and healing from the stark terror of separations from all that’s familiar, such as at death. Heals hatred of life and the world, and all the fears that arise from that intensity of separation caused by the rift of hatred. Another area of terror from separation is mental illness, such as psychosis, when the known, familiar reality and perception alters to something strange, unfamiliar, terrifying. This is one of the few essences that directly works with those on the Other Side. If you are aware of such an entity, or non-embodied spirit, that is in terror, you can place a bowl or cup of water with this essence added to it for the entity. Your intention will bring the entity to it.

Red-Mauve Tiger Lily Flower Essence

Reddish recurved lily, lightly speckledThe action of tiger lily essences is to integrate and resolve polarized intensity of emotions such as anger, rejection, shame, depending on the color of the flower. This Red-Mauve Tiger Lily flower essence is a mix of reddish colors: orange, brick, red, mauve. It heals confusion, which is what we experience when we don’t have clear information about what’s going on. We don’t have clarity when what we’ve been told is untrue or incorrect, or when we block our knowlng and awareness with our beliefs or points of view about what we’d like to be true. Either situation often produces rage, frustration, resentment, which this flower essence works to dissolve and release. Underneath these emotions is the love-space of our true being, which we all desire to have acknowledged and recognized, and so rarely is. Red-Mauve Tiger Lily flower essence heals this tangle, of love, hurt & desire to connect, even when it is by hurting back.

Wild Basil Flower Essence

Small, sprightly purple tubular flowers in a pinchushion puffReady to bust loose? This flower essence is for the wild, no-holds-barred, psychedelic, kaleidoscopic energy of total freedom, total abandon! Letting go of the assumptions of reality, the attachments to the known. Sexualness cut loose, the pure singing of being without need of a throat, dancing as the fire, flying without wings! The unpredictable, infinite possibility coursing through the body. The energy of taking one’s desires, not by force or effort–simply choosing and being.

New Iris & Phlox Flower Essences

This summer has been flying by! Here are new flower essences I made in June; how does it get better than not posting them until the last day in July? 🙂

Phlox “Chatahoochee”

lovely pale lavender blue starry clusters of blossoms with bright purple eyes

For knowing with total certainty that our guides, angels, spiritual helpers, team mates, entourage…are present. Heals us of anything that doesn’t allow this deep certainty.

Bearded Iris Riches & Splendor

The richness & splendor of the creation, & the process of creating. Energetically supports the glory of being that. Heals the hiding of the glory from ourselves & the world. Brings awareness to where we’re refusing to contribute, where we’re unwilling to be the contribution we truly are.

Iris Graminea

Delicately ruffled and veined blossom in shades of purple from palest to violet

This lovely species Iris contributes and allows delicacy and vulnerability in the soul’s life on Earth. For the soul that expresses strength easily, this essence supports other qualities.

Japanese Iris Kindness

white misted and veined with lavender, gold flares, lavender standards

What is kindness? It isn’t always what we’ve been taught and assume it to be…This flower essence illuminates lies and false assumptions about what is kind, sympathetic, helpful. Death is often a kindness yet we are taught to see it as cruel, tragic. This essence lifts us above the tangled lies into a clear space where we float, able to perceive what is so in each situation rather than making assumptions and using the reference points of the past to react to the present.

This essence has had quite a profound affect upon me. For the first time, I’ve been able to perceive when people are lying to me, manipulating me, trying to control me and so on. Instead of reacting, I allow their choice, and my choice is to not allow them to limit me. What a relief!

New Spring Flower Essences

Cowslip Flower Essence

e-cowslip

Primula veris is a sweet little flower of the traditional cheerful primrose yellow. The flower essence action addresses how we often take what is true for us as a general or universal truth. Actually we can each have our own, individual, specific, unique truths. When we release the idea that “truth” must be true everywhere, the way the metric system is a global standard of measurement, the way the speed of light is a universal constant…then we can be free, we can be joy, we can allow caring, kindness, gratitude for what IS. Whatever we make true, we make solid and real. This locks that reality into place. We sense it as dense, contracted, and we can mistake that density and intensity as proof of reality and truth. The opposite is what occurs: this reality is shaped by what we make true and real for us. What if we ask “How can I truly be the joy? What would it take to be the truth of me without judgement or considerations of this reality?”

Japanese Larch Flower Essence

Often I find that when I make a flower essence from a plant that is the same species, or a closely related one, to one of the Bach remedies, I get a much deeper sense and appreciation of the essence’s action. e-larch I found that in this case, also, with the extreme self-negation I experienced when attuning to the tree. Cancelling oneself out of the world, out of life. There’s a dull heavy energy of can’t: can’t try, can’t live, can’t grow, can’t express the soul or the self, can’t speak. The remarkable quality of this tree is the unique softness of its leaves. Most conifers have stiff, bristly, even sharp needles. The Larch’s leaves are soft like fur, inviting to the touch. To me this shows that the soul responds to being received tenderly, gently, and when this is not the case, there is a shadowing, hiding, negating of the self-expression. The other unique quality of the Larch is being deciduous; the needles turn yellow in autumn and fall from the tree, which stands bare all winter. As if the soul simply gives up and surrenders to the heavy fate of “I can’t.” The action of the essence is to heal this negation, which we see in the bright magenta-red of the female flowers (the flower pictured is male) and the brilliant sea green of the new leaves. To truly be ourselves in the world we must be gentle with ourselves, receive ourselves, and be willing to shine brightly amongst others. Even as we allow them to be who they are, we are vulnerable without fear or judgment or contraction. Simply, softly, being.  e-larches

Pieris Flower Essence

Grace & bounty, beauty & generosity, perfection of form, diversity of vistas! This is the flower essence of the “backwards question” that is really a hopeless conclusion of impossibility. When we ask “Where will the money come from?” “What else can go wrong?” “How can this disease not cause death?” “Why am I so messed up?” we close off possibilities instead of opening to receiving the profusion of what life, what the universe, is offering. The creative potency of being, of our souls, is vast, infinite, and works in diverse ways, becomes more focused and dense as it actualizes into form. WE are the creators, providers, and constrainers of our individual worlds, and our collective reality. The universe is not separate from us. Limitations we perceive we have either created or acquiesced to. e-pieris

Pieris flower essence has a primary action in our perceptions. We often limit our perceiving to our physical senses; this is what we are taught is real and right. Our eyes, ears, skin and other senses are not the creators of our perception; they are enhancers. As infinite beings, we already perceive whatever we choose. Our perceptions become more delightful when enhanced by our physical senses: more immediate, more real.

When we limit our infinite selves with beliefs in the material world as real and true, we have to dull our perceptions, also. What we experience consciously is based in our mental descriptions and interpretations of the sensory information we receive from our bodies. Our brains are exquisitely designed to interweave past with present, emotion with linearity, time with space, and with a vibrational soundtrack, and a storyline with ourselves as the main character. Then they show us a movie instantly made of this mix of actuality and interpretaion and invention with vivid sensory detail and we call it real.

Pieris flower essence dissolves and breaks the fixed stories, points of view, belief about how reality is, how it works, how we experience it.

Nanking Cherry Flower Essence

Prunus tomentosa has delicate, crumpled-looking pale pink petals, and softly fuzzy leaves. Nanking Cherry flower essence heals profound shame, wrongness, unworthiness from the mental level where we have decided, judged, concluded that this is so: we are unforgiveable, unredeemable. Mental agony, self-torture, self-punishment for whatever we’ve decided we are, for whatever soul-searing acts deserving of eternal damnation we’ve committed in this or another life or existence. Then we defend against our own judgement of ourselves; how can we stand to live with this otherwise? We work up some pride, spiritual ego, denial, validation, proof of some small way in which we aren’t what we’ve decided we are. But these are just band aids on the pit of evil we truly think we are.

We must invest absolutely in realities that support the judgements and computations we’ve performed upon ourselves, which means we must agree and make deeply meaningful our ideas of justice, right and wrong, good and evil, and every other polarity, to continue to see ourselves as deserving of what we inflict on ourselves. Round and round and round. Nanking Cherry flower essence breaks the loops, dissolves the polarities, returns us to a forgivable existence in which every belief is simply a point of view we can choose to change. Every action is a choice we can then choose to make differently. A reality in which the created universe is for us to experience, learn in, enjoy, rather than an absolute polarized construction set in eternal stone.

Virginia Bluebells Flower Essence

virginia-bluebell-flower-essenceA potent flower essence for healing anything we have experienced as being forced upon us. Unfair treatment, victimization, accidents, injuries, oppression that’s held in the body will release as this flower essence dissolves the core choice we made to be unaware that we had choice, unaware that we are infinite potent beings and nothing can happen to us without our either choosing it or relinquishing our awareness. Assists with clearing demons of unawareness. Catalyzes consciousness around anything held in the body through our refusing to be aware of it. Anywhere we have the belief that something was forced upon us, that something happened to us, is an indicator that we are holding ourselves in unawareness somehow there.

Daffodil Misty Glen Flower Essence

e-mistyglen

This daffodil flower essence assists in all soul transitions into and from bodies. This includes walk-ins entering or leaving a body. The action of the essence is to keep the integrity and coherence of the soul forces intact through the transition. This is also quite useful for soul retrieval as the Misty Glen essence supports the reintegration of the retrieved energies. Of benefit to the dying in making  a smooth, easy transition from the body. And to the newborn in maintaining the integrity of the soul during labor and birth and any stressful circumstances in the early life. If  labor is protracted or difficult, misting this essence around the mother and on her belly would support the baby’s soul.

Pink Rock Crust: New Essence for Holding Patterns

This lichen essence opens our cells to new information. It can release holding patterns of defense around entrenched issues such as from childhood and multiple past lives. Assists with detoxification as it signals cells to release toxins they’ve been holding onto. And cells become more receptive to new information and also nutrients. So if you’re having issues with absorption of nutritional supplements or medications, this will help.

IMG_5148

This essence is being added to a number of my combinations to assist in deep change and transformation. Most of us are familiar with defending against something; for instance we often choose to defend against being hurt. Defending for something is when we have taken a point of view, such as that we have been hurt, and we defend that point of view. When both of these are going on at the same time, we may have a lot of emotional and mental charge on these. This often sinks the entire defense system, both for and against, into the body.

Other essences to consider are Pentotes Orchid for awareness of these held patterns.

e-enc-pentotes

Herb Robert flower essence to energetically direct awareness and healing with pinpoint accuracy in the body.

Garlic flower essence to strengthen the vibration of the infinite being you truly are, rather than identifying with defenses and points of view you’ve chosen in the past. Garlic also assists in destroying those defenses and points of view.

Sedum flower essence for unraveling the defensive mechanisms and structures we’ve instituted throughout our body-mind.

Pink Kangaroo Paw, Fig, Busy Lizzie Flower Essences

New flower essences of Fig, Pink Kangaroo Paw, and Busy Lizzie, yes, even in the New England winter it is possible to make flower essences. Tropical plants come indoors when frost threatens, and they are often quite happy to grow and bloom in a sunny window. Some plants bloom according to day length; if their requirement for this happens to fall in a snowy month, then this is the only time to make that flower essence.

Busy Lizzie is a type of Impatiens, a family of flowers characterized by a distinct lip, nectar spur, and juicy translucent stems. An Impatiens flower remedy was one of Dr. Edward Bach’s original 38 remedies. Bach, a medical doctor, researcher and homeopath, was the developer of flower essences in their modern form. Busy LIzzie is a New Guinea-type Impatiens, and has the interesting characteristic of having miniature tufted structures resembling tiny frilly flowers at the tips of each tooth on the leaves.

busy-lizzie

As the common name suggests, the Busy Lizzie flower essence addresses frenzied activity. Like madly whirling radar receptors, the awareness of people of expanded consciousness–including children with ADHD–are constantly receiving quantities of information in the form of energy patterns, wavelengths, frequencies as well as words, sounds, body language, thoughts picked up from others’ minds….what else is possible? Anyone whose awareness is out of control, hyper-acute, or very sensitive due to stress, mental disorders, drugs, or nervous system conditions including trauma, may benefit from this essence. The flowers are flat, round, calm and soothing.

Fig flower essence is such an interesting one to make. I had a fig tree outdoors for years and could never find any flowers. Then I saw an article on the peculiar flowering of figs: the flowers are actually inside the baby fig fruit! A small hole at the “bottom” of the fig allows access for tiny flies that crawl inside to pollinate the fig. The flowers then become the seeds.

The Fig flower essence offers secret joy, private happiness, the ecstatic bliss of the sacral as the pulse of joy and pleasure within each of us. Joy as divine source actualized within the body, ever-present. Not of the mind, not of language, not givinng away, not trying to share, not conversing about, not describing, explaining, naming. The IS of joy we IS!

Pink Kangaroo Paw flower essence is made from a dwarf variety of this native of  Australia. All the Kangaroo Paw flower essences address problems and discomfort relating to others. These flower essences heal where we’ve cut ourselves off from our awareness of others, our own warm, caring feelings, and our abilities to bond and connect with others with ease and kindness.

Pink Kangaroo Paw stands out from other Kangaroo Paws. It is a dwarf plant, with small flowers of delicate pink. The flowers are displayed on short stems that don’t rise much above the leaves, unlike other Kangaroo Paws that have very long flower staks that can rise over 4 feet above the leaves. Like other Kangaroo Paws, the pink flowers are covered with velvety soft fuzz. The gentle pink color, turning to gray when malnourished, reflects the neglected infant’s perceived failure to create loving bonds, and the subsequent despair.

I discovered this key signature of this flower quite by accident. I repotted the plant into a larger pot (it was in one of those tiny ones at the nursery) and looked up its cultural requirements, which specified excellent drainage. So I potted it with a mix instead of soil from my garden. Turned out this potting mix was devoid of nutrients. The pink flowers faded, and the new blossoms were gray! I repotted the plant again, including my own organic worm castings. The new blossoms were pink again. Most plants, in a nutrient-poor situation, will simply stop blooming, or have fewer, stunted blossoms.

pink-kangaroo-paw

This dramatic shift in blossom color clued me in to what this flower essence was about when I was consulted about a little child adopted from a foreign country, where she’d been neglected and malnourished as an infant. Imagine the disruption in developing trust, communication, and relating abilities if there is hardly anyone there to relate with? Physical touch is love and nutrition to infant mammals. The resonance of this plant with this child was very strong, and the essence is having a wonderful affect.

Demons of Un-Awareness & Anti-Consciousness Return to From Whence You Came!

In Access Consciousness, a “demon” is an energetic pattern that keeps us from being aware and conscious in a particular way. They come into our energy fields whenever we choose consciously or unconsciously to be unconscious about something. (How do you become consciously unconscious? Anytime you think “I don’t want to know about that, I don’t care about that, that doesn’t matter, I can’t deal with that, I can’t handle that,” etc.) They keep our awareness shut off until we consciously become aware of doing that and make a different choice.

Through having done this quite a lot myself, I’ve become aware of what this “demon” energy feels like when I encounter it. I had an interesting experience the other day around this, where my awareness of demons expanded beyond my personal life.

I was walking while it was snowing–it was so pretty, the fluffy fresh snow coating the hemlocks and pines, and the bare branches of the maples, birches, and wild berry bushes along the road. I smelled the sweet yet industrial odor coming from one of my neighbor’s dryers. Suddenly I was aware of demon energy as well! What was that? I wondered.

I perceived in a flash that the demon energies had collected around the synthetic chemicals in the fragrances in the laundry products; the original unconsciousness may have been the chemists who invented these chemicals, who were (almost) certainly not malicious or malevolent in their manipulations of molecules to achieve a desired result. They were unaware, or chose to be unaware, of the potential harm these chemicals might cause to living cells.

Then the chemicals moved from the lab to the products on the supermarket shelves, and from the store to homes. Corporations created enticing ads to encourage sales. At every step, more demons flocked to the chemicals, the products, the ads, advertisers, corporate executives, factory workers, and consumers. Lotsa demons!

As I became aware of this in an instant, I became aware of how other chemicals and products in our world also have demons attached to them: cigarettes, petroleum products, plastics, cleaners…well, there’s tens of thousands. And those are just the ones I could imagine. You might think of some I haven’t.

Today, I encountered a similar flock of demons that wasn’t attached to things. Instead, these were collected on what I can best articulate as propaganda though it is much more subtle than that. What first came to my awareness is how there’s a new sense of inferiority laid upon people who do things for themselves rather than hiring “a professional.”

I do my own taxes. I call the IRS when I get stuck. Over the years, I’ve found the people on the telephones there to be fairly helpful. One particular issue I called about this week elicited the advice from the IRS to “seek a tax professional.” This made me cranky, and when I’d sorted out where all that irritation and resentment was coming from, I discovered this notion of the devaluing of the non-professional.

Immediately I sensed demons, and my awareness of this expanded to include store-bought vs. homemade, restaurant food vs. home-cooked, cultivated food vs. wild, old-fashioned vs. new. There’s plenty of people who resist this–look at etsy, where millions sell and buy hand-crafted items.

What else is there in our society and our rapidly changing world where demons of unawareness are discouraging us from becoming conscious of what’s really happening? Like a cloaking device, a smokescreen, the energy of a demon redirects attention away from actually perceiving what’s going on.

What possibilities for something totally different on planet Earth might suddenly appear in our consciousness, like the elephant in the living room, when the demons depart? How much of what we think we have choice about will be revealed as unawareness? What choices do we truly have that we don’t know we have?

What else is possible?

What does any of this have to do with flower essences? Well, it’s an interesting thing that ANY flower essence will increase awareness. ALL flower essences clear our minds, hearts, bodies and energy fields of interference and unconsciousness. Hurray! And thank you Earth!!

New Flower Essence Combination: Pre-Natal/Birth Heal

In response to a client’s situation, I created a new flower essence formula, Pre-Natal/Birth Heal, for energetic support for awareness and healing of whatever happened in utero or during birth or infancy that is still stuck and affecting you. Shock, trauma, premature birth, neglect, abandonment, adoption, separation, mistreatment, surgery, in utero exposure to stress, alcohol, drugs, accident or injury…whatever it was, if you feel wounded or damaged around this, this combination of flower essences will help transform what’s been true for you into a different choice. Some people recall being aborted in a previous existence–this flower essence formula would address that also. I’ve also found it assists when someone’s mother or grandmother experienced the trauma and “passed it down”.

Here’s the essences I used:
Star-of-Bethlehem for energetic healing of shock and trauma; restores the energy field to connectedness, organization, and self-coherence;

Evening Primrose for healing any pre-natal & birth energetic issues;

Shooting Star supports the soul to fully incarnate; this essence was made from a pure white flower;

Roses for the vibration of universal love so the soul feels safe;

Willow Herb for switching the brain energetically towards life and happiness;

Scallion for risking making new, creative choices;

Goldthread for healing the spirit’s connection to body & the grief of separation from Source;

Pink Self-Heal for being our own healers; Sorry out of stock.

Buddha Orchid for spiritual protection, blessings, & healing pre-natal and birth; especially for energetic protection from stress, distress, accident, injury in utero–works retroactively! hdigabtt?;

Asparagus for healing things that happened suddenly, dramatically, or really fast; very strong Uranus resonance;

Sundrops for restoring the wholeness of being that is our spiritual origin; this flower is also known as Missouri Primrose;

Peony “Primavere” for loving ourselves and forgiving others for their involvement around this time;

Wood Anenome helps reconcile splits between soul and mind, spirit and body, so the being in the body can love being here on Earth. Transmutes basic reactive emotional responses such as fear, anger, grief into compassion, love, and spiritual understanding.
